Accompaniment with Medicinal Cacao: A Path of Personal Healing and Transformation

My journey with master plants began over 20 years ago, and for the past five years, I have dedicated myself to deepening my personal healing path with cacao. Through direct experience, guided introspection, and witnessing the profound transformations that this sacred food has facilitated in countless lives, I have developed my own approach—rooted in respect, integrity, and lived experience.

I am deeply grateful to my guides, including Tata Izaias Mendoza and Nana Izabel, whose wisdom has enriched my understanding. However, I do not teach or transmit any specific ancestral knowledge from an ancient culture. What I share is based on my personal life journey, the testimonies of those who have participated in my circles, and my direct relationship with cacao as a medicinal ally. This work is a reflection of my own vision and practice, honoring cacao as both nourishment and medicine, while fostering personal empowerment, self-exploration, and heart-centered transformation.

PACHAMAGDA

PachaMagda is a multidisciplinary artist, singer-songwriter, and educator in the arts of dance. In response to the planetary call during quarantine, she created VOICES OF MOTHER EARTH, a movement that amplified the voices of those unheard, uniting people worldwide in song for our planet. To date, this has led to nine online festivals and the founding of a school dedicated to cacao work. In 2020, she organized the **first Training for Ceremonial Cacao Facilitators, guided by Tata Izaias and Nana Izabel, young Quiché Maya grandparents from the spirit jurisdiction of San Marcos, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

Becoming a cacao facilitator requires a deep reverence for cacao as a sacred plant medicine and a passion for holding space for transformation. While formal qualifications are not mandatory, experience in leading ceremonies or a background in healing modalities can enhance your facilitation abilities.
